She also teaches university theatre, specializing in voice, movement, and performance. She weaves her private body work practice with her life as a university professor.
Juhl uses table and chair massage, craniosacral therapy, and the Alexander Technique to help her clients and students feel more comfortable in their bodies by releasing stress and muscular pain and tension and improving the freedom and efficiency with which they perform everyday activities. She has worked with actors, singers and instrumentalists to improve their performance techniques, free creativity and artistry, improve comfort in activity, and prevent injury. She also has experience working with athletes and people with disabilities.
